Altona Beach is a family favourite for us. We can set up under the shade of the pier and enjoy the very calm and shallow water of the beach. When it's time for lunch, R J Logan Reserve provides a playground and a shady spot to sit on the grass under the trees. We love the ice cream from Altona Beach Bites, and our fish and chips from Pier St. The toilets are near the Pier on Esplanade.
