And that's just what we did when we attended a wonderful art class with Rachael from Little Art Big Art, infact it was such a celebration that we used party poppers to paint and decorate some little people. The kids were completely engaged which meant despite them both being under 3, we were all able to enjoy our Tiny Artist (1-5yrs) Class. 

 

Rachael is a Qualified school teacher, and her patience and creativity are evident throughout the class. She offers a discounted rate if you have 2 or more children making it an affordable option.  

 

Classes Available:

 

Tiny Artists Program 1-5 yrs (Thursday & Friday Mornings)

The TINY ARTIST Program is a jammed packed 40 minute creative session. With a hidden focus on fine motor development and hand eye coordination, the key to this class is letting the children explore the vast range of art materials on hand in order to create their own artwork and creative independence. So, in our Tiny Artist classes there are no art rules, therefore no mistakes. We are free to express ourselves in our own unique way through art exploration.

 

Kids love paint so we use lots of paint but explore a range of other fun art materials so the TINY artists are exposed to various art concepts. We cover 3-4 concepts in the lesson and I secretly have a skill I target, ie: forming circles for the young toddlers or creating circular pattern work with the older kinder kids. The end result though is up to them.

 

The Tiny Artist Program is a great program for parents to pick up art ideas that they can run at home. That way, the art experience continues no matter where you are.

 

Purely Paint Program 1-5 yrs (Thursday Mornings)

The PURELY PAINT Programs is 30 mintue painting session. Artist will explore the world of PAINT using various types of paint and paint application tools. This is a great program for kids who love paint and for parents who don't love paint on the furniture. 

 

Small Artists Program 4/5 yrs (Kinder kids) (Thursday mornings)

The SMALL ARTIST Program is a 40 minute art session dedicated to the KINDER kids. These children begin to understand colour mixing whilst continuing to develop their fine motor skills and hand eye coordination. Students learn to discuss their artworks with each other as well as work through mini art projects. Again, there are no art rules, therefore no mistakes and each artist is encouraged to express themselves in their own unique way through our art journey.

Each SMALL ARTIST recieves an Art Bag complete with Art journal so the art experience continues at home and at art class!
