The Night Market

 

Yes! The Night Market is on for it's summer season. 

 

The Night Market has been one of my favourite Melbourne experiences, and when we have family visiting from out of town, if they're here on a Wednesday Night I make sure they don't miss it. 

 

I don't know exactly what I love about it so much- the food, the cold sangria, the live music, the handmade and boutique goodies, or the way that the market is able to draw in crowds of thousands of people. Maybe it is more a case of me not knowing what you wouldn't love about it. 

 

It's Melbourne. A celebration of our mixing of cultures and backgrounds. And when I'm here, it makes me realise that I don't want to be in any other city in the world.

 

You'd think I'd be worried that I'm talking it up and you'll be disapointed? I'm not x

 

The Night Market isn't particuarly kid friendly, and it can be really hot depending on the weather, it can also be quite difficult to find parking and to navigate with a pram, but with a 5pm start means you can get in and out quickly and make it home before bedtime. There were cute little goodies for the kids, we picked up some gorgeous finger puppets.
