Verona Drive Playground

 

Brimbank Council really have some wonderful playgrounds and this one in Verona Drive, Taylors Lakes is wonderful! We visited on a sunny day and the kids (and I) just didn't want to leave! 

Our tips:

-it's located towards the Messina Cres. end of Verona Drive

-bring a bucket and spade (and maybe a change of clothes because the sandpit + water combo is irresistable) 

-bring a hat because there is no shade over the play area

-there is a milk bar next door if you need supplies 

-across the other side of the Keilor-Melton Hwy (10 minute walk, you can pick up some fish and chips)

 

This playground has plenty to do for all ages, but unfortunately for visitors to the area there are no public toilets.

 

The playground contains:

-Flying Fox

-Gym Equipment

-Sandpit

-Water Pump

-Swings (including nest swing)

-Giant Slide

-Toddler Slides

-Open Space to play sports

-Football goals

-Shelter

-Drinking fountains

 

It's a wonderful addition to the area and we are making play dates there again for the near future already.
